Dave Ramsey ELPs pay a membership fee to become an ELP and remain in good standing. To become a Dave Ramsey ELP, each advisor must submit an application. The advisor is then put through an interview and must meet Dave Ramsey's proprietary criteria to be selected as an ELP. Dave Ramsey ELPs are not required to have any specialized financial knowledge and relying on advice from ELPs does not guarantee investment success.
